It was a frail and humorous attempt at mentally preparing myself for what was about to happen. I took a small step forward, "It's better to just dive in and get it over with", I thought to myself. I wasn't convinced. The waves lapped at my <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">bare feet</span> and and the cool wind stung my eyes. I was on a mission. </span><br /><span style="font-family:georgia;">Oh, and I wasn't alone. Kristy and John stood behind me, silently watching me in horror as I waded out into deeper waters. </span><br />"Surely you don't expect us to get in the water" Kristy asked uterly terrified.<br />But by then I was waist deep and couldn't decide whether I was getting use to the water or if my lower limbs had just gone numb.
